| My grandfather is now in the severe stages of dementia. The past 10 years has been pretty challenging at times but as a family we made it work. I didn't quite understand the disease of dementia but I gained knowledge quickly through support groups with other families who were dealing with the same questions and concerns as I was. This helped me understand alot more and be able to help my grandfather to the best of my ability.

I grew up on a farm, raising horses, goats, cats and dogs. I love spending time with family, cooking, exercising, playing with animals, watching Tv and oil painting.
