| When doing my Clinical Pastoral Education training at Austin Hospital, I could realize that caring for elders is something that I really enjoy and love to do. I enthusiastically met their needs providing them with spiritual support. I also provided support to my colleagues where needed was willing to help wherever necessary. I have experience in customer service focused on meeting customer’s expectations for more than 10 years within the hotel industry in Colombia, hospitality, and community service in Australia. | Hi. My name is Prisca and I am 2nd year nursing student at Deakin University. I also have a certificate course completion in hospital attendant. I am looking for work which is within my field and here I can expand my knowledge base more and improve into my practice. The only work or job that comes to my mind as a nursing student which could be within my scope of practice as a nursing student is within a age care setting or providing care in whatever manner I can as it is my duty to care for whosoever is in need as a student nurse as well as a future registered nurse. I have attended various nursing placements in a rehab facilities which involved working with aged patients with disabilities. My skills includes showering, bowel care, personal hygiene, changing diapers making beds etc. I can also do blood pressure monitoring, heart rate monitoring, blood glucose monitoring etc. I enjoyed working during my placements and have confidence that it is something that I am happy to do.
