They are the most wise and knowledgeable generation in society and I am grateful for the opportunity to support them when it is most needed. I have spent the past 3 years caring for a couple with severe dementia. The female has advanced aphasia. I have done everything for them, including but not limited to Wake up and going to sleep assistance getting in and out of bed Showering/bathing/ dressing Meal preparation and assistance Physical exercise Appointments Shopping/ errands Companionship Housekeeping Managing their estate

| I’ve cared for my elderly grandmother till her passing at 94yrs of age .I’m currently working in home care helping elderly residents with companionship , errands , transport and any duties around the home .I am happy to help with meal prep , tidying up around the house, putting a load of washing on , folding clothes walking the dog or doing the shopping.

I have over one year work experience working as a carer and gained all my experience in a nursing home. I helped clients with personal care such as washing, toileting, mobilising and assisting with meals. Supporting clients in a way that maintains diginity and privacy. I work hard to get to know my clients, so I can help them enjoy their interest and hobbies.

| Hi I’m Sarah I have recently moved to Australia from Ireland. I am a qualified Occupational Therapist and have a lot of experience working with older adults including in hospitals, nursing/care homes and in their own homes. Whilst completing my University degree I worked part-time in a number of care/nursing homes. I am a bubbly and caring person and I really enjoy building relationships and spending time with the elderly. As I have just moved to Australia I don’t have an Australian police check but have had regular police checks whilst working as a care assistant/Occupational Therapist in England.
