| I have been working for more than five years as a Home Support Worker and have a passion to work with older people and helping them with their daily needs. Since I have worked with older people for such a long time, I possess experience in personal hygiene, administering medication, transporting and lifting clients with a lifter. I comprehend that it is often challenging to work with residents who are suffering from dementia or other disorders. Working with different clients and new situations every day has allowed me to develop my ability to quickly adapt to new environments and communicate effectively with a diverse range of clients.

I have worked in a nursing home for 6 years attending to all kinds of residents ranging from those who need little help but more companionship, to those who need help with every activity of daily living. I am also a fully qualified cook with a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery. So I am very experienced in the cooking of tasty nutritious meals and I am fully acquainted with the serving of meals to people with special dietary needs. I am a very reliable, punctual and diligent worker who is very friendly and personable and able to communicate and relate to older people.
