-Psychosocial welfare, sociocultural sensitivity & competence, and support for the best quality of life is the name of my game! -One-on-one to group-care environments -Cooking of fresh nutritious meals -Gentle & hygienic personal care as preferred by the patient -Nurse-knowledge of clinical ageing-related changes that impact patient needs & abilities -In-depth knowledge of national & local health legislation and laws for the ethical, moral and mandatory care, rights & responsibilities of all stakeholders -Community access, social inclusion & activities of daily living support -Acknowledging the patient is the leader of their own care & I am simply 'working' WITH them to achieve their goals and desires -Suggestion of new ideas & changes to patient requirements -High-level of clinical & organizational computer/online/written documentation & reporting & communication of these to my colleagues & management -Academic level of written & verbal communication skills
