| I have worked it community support services for many years supporting the aged, disabled and families to achieve their goals and live their best life. Kind, experienced and reliable carer, who is able to connect with people and communicate effectively. Nursing is my background however I have been working in caring roles the past 9 years. I enjoy swimming, reading, crafts including knitting and crocheting, movies, op shopping and catching up with friends.

| As the leading hand my responsibilities include thorough cleaning of resident’s rooms ensuring infection control standards and resident personal hygiene is maintained as well as full room cleans when a resident is discharged. I was also responsible for the cleaning of common resident areas, staff areas and management offices. I managed three employees and am accountable for rostering, backfill and other human resource requirements. I have also assisted in the laundry on occasion therefore have developed a foundation of the day to day processes. I believe I am friendly and outgoing; I am able to build great rapport with all of the residents and develop professional working relationships with other disciplines of staff. I enjoy the challenge of working in a busy environment and am able to work well autonomously. With my previous experience in the nursing field, I understand the requirements of aged care, hygiene and cleaning,using this knowledge every day.
