I am transitioning into the aged care industry after working in retail roles over the past 24 years. As a result of my previous employment, I have gained excellent skills regarding working with the public, showing care, empathy and patience. I also show great care to detail and a willingness to learn.
Although I'm yet to have any experience in aged care roles (other than completing 120 hours of placement), my work ethic is second to none, with a history of reliability and longevity. I have sound skills in decision making, planning and problem solving. I am well presented, take care in my appearance and pride myself in my ability to connect with others.
I have a current national police certificate, have completed my first aid and manual handling certificates, hand hygiene certificate, NDIS worker screening clearance and working with children clearance. I am also up to date with my COVID and flu vaccinations.
