Student nurse with seven+ years experience as a support worker.
|
HI! My name is Amanda Nelson.
I have been working as a support worker largely with people with disabilities both in residential care and in the community. I also have experience in the community with aged care and most recently for three weeks full-time as part of my Nursing Diploma within an aged care facility which was a wonderful experience. This period of time covers just over seven years.
I am fun-loving, kind, compassionate, patient, empathetic, professional and genuine. I focus on being punctual, reliable and flexible.
I have all my vaccinations, am happy to wear a face mask on shift and perform correct hand hygiene.
I do not smoke but do live with two cats and one dog and do try very hard to remain "fur-free". :)
I have my current Blue and Yellow cards, Police Check, First Aid, CPR and am currently studying a Diploma in Nursing.
I am currently employed as a support worker part time and am looking for some extra experience in aged care up to 20 hours per week.
If you think I might be a good fit for you or your family member, please do get in touch.
Kindest,
Amanda
