• Provide personal care which include showering, dressing, toileting, meal preparation, transport to appointments, social support and companionship, domestic assistance and medication prompt.
• Work in line with the care plan and contribute to staff meetings as requested.
• Maintain a diary whilst the client is on placement.
• Support new staff and reporting back to the coordinator / manager as requested.
• Foster a co-operative and harmonious relationship with staff, clients, representatives and their families.
• Advocate on behalf of clients if necessary.
• Observe and reported changes in client’s health and wellbeing.
• Follow organisational policies and procedures.
• Effectively manage time.
• Comply with infection control guidelines
• Assist with social and recreational activities.
