| Hello I'm Robin. I recently moved to Darwin from Melbourne where I had completed certificate III in Individual Support. I Completed my placement in Chronos care where I supported residents with disability, dementia, High Care, Low Care. I really enjoyed helping them. I also learned many things about resident’s behavior, care plans, mandatory reporting, privacy and confidentiality of the residents and many more. I also have undertaken training like manual handling training, first aid training, etc. I was attracted to this field because I was really attached to my grandfather. I used to support my grandfather in home country as he was half paralyzed. During my placement when I worked with such people and helping them made me very happy and connected to my grandfather. I really enjoy my time during my placement. It motivated me to support and make old aged people with disability happy. | I have been working in aged care for more than 1 year for the reputed organisation like uniting care and anglicare. I am familiar with all the manual handling techniques and hygiene.
