I consider myself to be a bubbly, empathetic and positive person.

I have worked in Aged Care for 8 + years. Throughout my career, I have shown genuine passion for caring for the elderly/persons with Alzheimer’s, Dementia, Cerebral Palsy, Brain injury and other disabilities, along with an empathetic and kind hearted nature.
My care is built on my natural ability to genuinely empathise with people. I pride myself with the high quality of care that I provide.
I have a natural ability to know the ideal words to say to offer comfort and reassurance to a patient should they become confused, sad, anxious or agitated.
I understand that it can be challenging to work with clients suffering from Alzheimer’s/Dementia/Disability/Depression/Anxiety and I strive hard to understand each patient's situation in order to work with them accordingly, acknowledging that each person has different needs.
While I work well in team environments, I am independently motivated, providing leadership and decision making on a day to day basis.
I absolutely love my job. I enjoy looking after people/forming relationships & treat each person as I would my own mother/father.
However the strictness of my schedule in Nursing Homes means I'm unable to provide the one on one care that I wish to.
