| I have had a years experience in aged care, supporting up to 5 clients a week in their own homes. I did a range of jobs, from companionship, tasks and errands, cleaning, preparing and serving meals, and personal care, such as daily hygene tasks and assisting in getting dressed. I took great pride in my work, and prioritised dignity and comfort over all other things. Caring requires you to be understanding and flexible in your role, which I found came naturally to me. I always had continuous positive feedback from my employer, my clients and their families, and built s strong relationship with everyone I worked with. I am currently looking for a casual role as a career, with the ability to commit up to 10 hours a week.
