The educator will be required to care for child’s basic routine while also focusing on developmentally appropriate activities. The educator would need to consider their current and emerging interests and use these with their weekly programming. The family would like an Educator who has experience in Neurodiversity. This position will be full time to start of February 2025 and then will be half days, during school holidays the person could flex up to fulltime but this is not essential. Applicants must like animals as the family have an elderly spoodle and two cats. You must: - Have obtained or are working towards your Certificate/Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care OR have a Bachelor teaching degree (early years or primary) and registered with the teaching authority board of the relevant state - Be an experienced child care worker with at least 3 professional references. - Have WWCC, Police Check, CPR and Level 2 First Aid - Have a car & driver's licence - Be willing to commit for at least 12 months - Full working rights in Australia (Applicants with 155, 190 & 186 visas may be considered depending on conditions and length of remaining stay - 417 & 462 visas need not apply)

Looking for a Carer/ Babysitter once per week so my husband and I can have a weekly date together. Our son has mild neuro differences/ special needs, which are supported by a strong sense of safety, security and rhythm. He is shy at first yet is a very warm and engaging little boy. He attends school. We are looking for someone who as well as a weekly arrangement, is open for extra casual babysitting hours for when parents are working or need to attend social outings. Ideally, on Friday you will pick our 7-year-old son up from school at 3.20pm in Abbotsford; bring him home to his house, and care for him after school, then have dinner with him, after which you will facilitate his bedtime routine with him (teeth/ toilet/ bath/ PJ’s/ story/ sleep). However, we are also keen to hear from carers/ babysitters seeking a more casual arrangement and/ or who are free sometime on Saturdays if Fridays don’t work for you. No specific qualifications required.

We are two professionals who need a regular nanny to look after our three children, three days a week, commencing in 2021. We will need full days (approximately 10 hours/day) during the school holidays and afternoon/evening care during the school term (approximately 1pm-7pm). The job will require some light house work (kitchen tidy up etc., making lunches), pick up from school (drivers licence essential, we can provide vehicle), supervise homework, prepare and provide dinner and supervise and assist with bedtime routine. Our 10 year old son has ADHD and autism spectrum disorder and as such, can have challenging behaviour finding it difficult to complete tasks, being oppositional and sometimes having difficulty with emotional regulation. He responds well to someone who is understanding, interested and invested in him but who also sets clear limits and a well defined routine. Our two daughters are good fun and generally pretty co-operative and capable.
