My son Toby is 8. I am putting feelers out there for some help 4 afternoons a week for an energetic, active and happy 8 year old boy. He has autism level 2 and adhd, medicated and completely verbal. He also has asthma. I will need someone from 4 to 8 pm, to help with bathing, dressing and hygiene care. I will need assistance to help put Toby to bed, some light meal prep and some very light house work- making Toby's bed, picking up his toys (with his assistance) and occasionally vacuum or hang a load of washing, unstack the dishwasher etc. Ideally you will have experience with children with autism and behaviours, asthma experience and first aid, able to give medication, working with children's check and a police check. I would love to be able to speak to your references as well. Ideally I would love help 4 afternoons a week, however, happy to start off with a few afternoons to see how we go. Thank you.

Hi I’m looking for an NDIS funded carer to transport my 3yr old on the Spectrum to daycare Mon- Fri, opening at 7:30am Newcastle Marketown. I will be in full time work as of Feb 10 and the daycare I want my child to experience opens too late for me to reach work on time. We are looking for a baby sitter / support worker for our 5 yr old son with high functioning Autism. He currently attends pre school 4 days a week and music lessons and speech therapy one day a week. Your role will include attending pre school with him and assisting with building social skills as well as other strategies determined by therapists as required. You are also required to attend lessons and therapy on the day that he is not at preschool. The hours will be 6 - 8 hours per day, approximately 35 hours per week. Previous experience in Autism, work experience in a child care center in a similar role is preferred, but not essential.

We require a nanny for one afternoon per week between 2-6pm for our 3 children. Responsibilities will include school pick up and looking after our children in the afternoon.
