I am a busy professional mum looking for casual/part-time caring support during periods of solo parenting for my two 7.5 and 5.5 year old sons, where my older son has special needs (Autism and Intellectual Disability). Both boys are sweet natured and active children.
I am looking for assistance with: getting ready for school including breakfast/packing lunches, transport to school, and also school pick up and supervision in the afternoons before dinnertime.
I am looking for someone with a warm personality who has prior experience with special needs children. Blue card/working with children check and drivers licence essential. Additional allied health qualifications or working towards these qualifications highly desirable e.g. occupational therapy, nursing, speech therapy, physiotherapy.
$168 - $2166 Hr. / Week

Our 5 year old client, who has Hemiplegia lives in Moorooka with her mother, father and twin brother. She attends school full time.
Support Worker is required for the following hours:
Monday – 7am to 9am; 2:30pm to 6:30pm
Wednesday - 2:30pm to 6:30pm
Thursday - 7am to 9am; 2:30pm to 5:30pm
Friday - 7am to 9am; 2:30pm to 5:30pm
What you will be doing:
You will be assist the child to get ready for the day and drop her to school on morning shifts. When on an afternoon shift you will need to pick her up from school and then do activities with her in the home and community. This may include visits to the park and swimming pool.
About you:
To be successful in the position you will have:
• Current WWC Check– Employer
• Current First Aid Certificate
• Certificate 4 or above in Individual Care, Early Childhood, Education, Nursing or Youth
• A background working with children and demonstrated understanding of child development and family dynamics
• The ability to work independently and seek support remotely when needed.
• Drivers license and own car.
Remuneration –
SACS Award Level 2.1 Casual
$503 - $64718 Hr. / Week
