Our sweet dog R, or P as she is most often known is almost 19 and in her final chapter of life. We love her more than we can explain. Diagnosed with canine dementia, her days are quiet and slow... spend napping in her indoor pup pen which keeps her safe, broken up with regular pats and short wanders on the grass to sniff the air. Due to her advanced age, we no longer feel comfortable leaving P at home by herself while we have to go to work as we worry she might need us, she also sometimes requires support for toileting. Caring for P will require a very special person. Someone compassionate and kind who understands that while we might not have too much time left with our sweet girl, we are not yet ready to say goodbye. Would most likely suit someone who works from home or can work remotely, or perhaps a retired person who has extra love to share. No medication would need to be administered during the day.
