We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable housekeeper/cleaner to assist with maintaining a clean, organised, and comfortable home environment. The ideal person will be thorough, take pride in their work, and have a keen eye for cleanliness and organisation. You will be a clean and well put together person yourself. This role is for 2 days a week (Wednesdays and Fridays) from 8am to 5pm. Responsibilities include: - Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, showers, and bathtubs. - Deep clean the kitchen, including countertops, sinks, cabinets, and all appliances (oven, fridge, microwave, kettle, coffee machine). - Wipe down kitchen cabinets, handles, and high-touch surfaces. - Wash, fold, and iron clothes; organise laundry and put items away neatly. - Change bed linen and make beds. - Empty all garbage bins and take out the trash and recycling. - Clean and polish all mirrors and glass surfaces. - Dust all surfaces, including furniture, shelves, light fixtures etc. - Maintain tidy and organised drawers,, and storage areas. - Vaccum, and mop floors throughout the house. - Clean interior windows and window sills. - Organize and tidy common areas, including living room, dining room, and home office. - Water indoor plants and wipe down leaves as needed. - Maintain a clean entryway, ensuring shoes and outerwear are neatly organised. - Sweep roof terrace from leaves and maintain a tidy outdoor area - Restock cleaning supplies and notify if items need replenishing. - Adhere to all household cleaning standards and preferences. Requirements: - Proven experience as a housekeeper/cleaner. - Strong attention to detail and time management skills. - Ability to follow instructions and work independently. - Trustworthy and respectful of privacy. Daily rate is $250 with a review after 3 months to $300 subject to performance. Equivalent to $31.25 an hour and then $37.50 an hour
