We are looking for a housekeeper/cleaner to clean and prepare cottages between check-out at 10am to be completed by 2pm ready for check-in, as well as periodic deep cleans that can be done solo or with another person. There is also some gardening and / or maintenance work to be done periodically for those who are interested. We have a wonderful, friendly, long-term housekeeper for weekdays, but need a cleaner for weekends and the odd weekday as needed. Additional weekday work will be available during the upcoming school holidays in Sep-Oct 2024. Rates and Formalities: Weekdays are $40 per hour (1.5 to 2 hours per cottage) Weekends are $50 per hour (1.5 to 2 hours per cottage) A minimum of 2 hours per shift is fine if preferred, as there's always extra cleaning of blinds, windows, walls, cobwebs etc. Someone with an ABN or willing to get an ABN (they're easy to set up!) is preferred, who can invoice periodically for cleans (i.e. daily, weekly etc.). We're looking for someone reliable, with attention to detail as we and our customers really appreciate quality cleans. Experience is great, although we're happy to train the right person. Don't worry, making beds is easy once learned! Cleaning equipment, detergents and cloths are supplied, although you can bring yours if you want. We use a linen service too, so there's no ironing and washing to do. The full task list isn’t posted here, but a detailed list of tasks can be forwarded upon request. As a young family who live on the same property as the cottages and run the business, we know the juggle of this work and family life. We value the people who work for us and we do pay promptly.
