A charming, young family based in Binna Burra are seeking an experienced Housekeeper for 15-20 hours per week to assist with maintaining their large country house. The family consists of 2 children aged 13 years and 1 year old as well as a lovely dog. This position requires a candidate with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, initiative and the capability to work independently while supporting the household needs. The successful applicant will become an integral part of this family's home and should be committed to a long-term engagement and ensure confidentiality is upheld at all times. Key Responsibilities: - Cleaning and organising the recently renovated house to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and order. - Managing laundry duties, including handling delicate items, and ironing as needed. - Ensuring the kitchen / main living areas are always tidy and well-maintained. - Ability to prioritise areas of the house requiring more intensive cleaning at certain times of the year. - Carrying out regular stock checks and updating inventory of products. Requirements: - Prior experience in housekeeping, demonstrating reliability and independence in similar roles. - Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions effectively. - Flexibility to adapt to changing tasks and situations. - Proactive nature and ability to use initiative to meet household needs. - Possess good knowledge and competence in utilising and maintaining household equipment such as a Karcher steamer / Dyson and specialised cleaning products. - Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively within the family environment as well as with other staff members. - Right to work in Australia - Valid drivers license - Police check - WWCC - 3x references Job Conditions: - Approximately 15-20 hours over 3-4 days between Monday – Friday.
