Hi! Our family is looking to hire an early childhood educator for our 2 and 3 year old daughters. One of our children has additional needs (Angelman Syndrome). We’ve been approved for In Home Child Care which is a government scheme providing care for children in the home who are unable to attend mainstream daycare. There is some pretty strict criteria to meet under this scheme, unlike a private nanny/au pair/support worker, as it is a program provided by the Australian Government childcare package, and families receive the CCS subsidies/rebates. You need to have qualifications in, or be currently studying towards, a Cert III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, or primary school teaching. You need to be covid vaccinated, have a Blue Card, First Aid and CPR certificates. You will will register with the in home care service provider, who assist with all of the payroll side of things. The successful person will need to be comfortable with and willing to learn tube feeding requirements and incorporate her therapy play into the daily routine, including alternative communication (all training provided of course). I will always be around as I work from a home office. she is a super happy social and easy kid to look after who especially loves water play, music and people. The care arrangements will be: Monday (both girls at home) and Tuesday (just one child to care for, the older one is at Kindy). Please message me if you might be the right fit!

Hi! Our family is looking to hire an early childhood educator for our 2 year old daughter Blair who has Angelman Syndrome. You will also need an ABN, and will register with the in home care service provider, who assist with all of the payroll side of things. We need care for Blair on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, which could increase to third day down the track. Hours and payrate negotiable, please message me to discuss. Angelman Syndrome is a rare genetic condition which affects the central nervous system and is caused by a missing gene on the 15th chromosome. It causes developmental delay, cognitive impairment, speech and motor disorder, feeding, sleeping and gastrointestinal issues, epilepsy. Despite these challenges, people with Angelman‘s are renowned for their happy disposition. The successful person will need to be comfortable with and willing to learn Blair’s tube feeding requirements and incorporate Blair’s therapy play into the daily routine, including alternative communication (all training provided of course). I will always be around as I work from a home office. Blair is a super happy social and easy kid to look after who especially loves water play. She was previously attending a mainstream daycare with her older sister, however due to her vulnerabilities, she was not coping with the inevitable daycare sicknesses so the decision was made to pull her out until she is older and hopefully I bit more resilient to fight off the normal daycare bugs. Please message me if you might be the right fit!

Hello! We are very excited to be moving to the area next month! We are a very busy family but are also very easy going and love to have fun :) About us: -Mom...about to start a full-time uni course (Medicine) -Dad...a ######....#### need the flexibility to go back to our main property about once per month -Older child...silly, curious, hilarious 5 year old girl that's starting prep in January -Younger child...cheeky and active almost 3 year old boy that will also be in daycare a few days per week We are renting a house on some acreage in a beautiful spot. We have some cows, horses and chooks and a wonderful view of the sunny coast. We would love to find someone that is kind, respectful and engaging with our kids. Finding someone that is safe, responsible, and a good communicator is a top priority. We would be flexible with the schedule but ideally it would be great to find someone that also has a bit of flexibility with the number of hours they could do each week: -on a week to week basis it would be wonderful to find someone that would like to do 2 regular days each week (8-10 hours per day) -we would need more help approximately one week every month (I.e. when my husband is away for work)...especially for school pick ups/after school care (we would be able to give notice about a month in advance when we are needing extra help) Flexible with schedules but we are looking for help with things like: -drop off and/or school pickup (car provided when transporting kids) -play time at home or out and about with the kids after school -preparation of meals (especially school lunches) -light housework (i.e. dishes, laundry, tidying up toys)
