I have one 12 year old daughter at home so it would just be being at home with her and doing some light house work and ideally some cooking. I have cleaners every fortnight so no mopping or cleaning stuff is required, maybe just cooking, ironing and little things like packing the dishwasher and stuff like that. Looking for a warm presence in our home. We do have two small dogs (moodles) at home also, just fyi.

I am looking for an experienced part-time carer for my 4.5-year-old daughter, boxer dog and cat. The job will include light housework & meal prep. Care requirements are for Mon & Thur with variable hours 2-8 hours per day. Occasionally job will include pick up from preschool on Tuesday and Wednesday at 3:45pm. My daughter is a very energetic and inquisitive, who will do best with a mature carer who is familiar with setting appropriate clear and consistent limits and boundaries and adhering to a routine. I am looking for someone who will be a reliable and consistent presence in her life for the next few years. There should be a set routine for care days which should include allocated times for play, learning, rest, exercise, chores, etc. I am looking for someone who is able to develop and deliver an age-appropriate at home learning curriculum which includes both traditional subjects (i.e. reading/writing, maths, telling time, days of the week/months, art, language, music, history, etc). and non-traditional subjects (i.e. emotional intelligence, yoga, meditation/mindfulness, yoga, gardening, environmental topics, basic money awareness, etc). The appropriate routine should also include a "chore time" with my daughter assisting in light housework and cooking - i.e. feed animals, make bed, unpack dishwasher, laundry, vacuum, pack away toys, take out rubbish, weed & garden, prep dinner, etc. We are both gluten free and cook with minimal dairy so knowledge of cooking in this way is desired. The appropriate applicant will be very organised with excellent time management skills, high attention to detail and have a broad range of demonstrated experience.
