We are based in the beautiful Beach area and are self-employed within our thriving Digital Media Company, which often requires our presence at work commitments on weekends for up to 12 hours. Our professional commitments also include working from home, though our dedicated office time is limited due to our vibrant 3-year-old being home nearly full-time. We are looking for someone to provide casual childcare support, particularly for about 5-6 hours Thursdays from 11AM to 4/5 PM for the 3y/o only. Our family of 4 are looking for afternoon care for our two boys aged 7 & 4 for the hours between 2:30/3pm - 6/6:30pm 4 or 5 days a week. Anywhere from 12 to 20 hours a week. My eldest is ASD2 & ADHD combined & is supported by Speech, OT, reading & writing & sees a therapist on a regular basis under the NDIS program. Our 4-year-old is a sensory seeking outgoing fun little man. He has started his journey with a referral to NDIS due to some slight speech difficulties which is where things started for his older brother around the same age however not as delayed. Both are happy and energetic boys who have a love for dinosaurs and play outside where possible and love riding their bikes. But also love the world of digital technology as most children on the spectrum do. We are looking for some support for my husband and I in the afternoons while we wrap up our workdays, so they have someone to collect them from school, take them for some afternoon activities be it swimming lessons or playing in the park before doing any homework required, having some down time before having a home cooked meal. I mostly look after the mornings to do school drop offs starting later than my husband but work later to offset this for my work as I grow our third-generation family business. My husband up until recently has been fortunate enough to collect them from school and was available from 2:30pm onwards, his work is changing that he will be finishing work between 4:30pm/5pm which is why we are now looking into some at home assistance.
