We are searching for a nurturing and fun-loving nanny for our child while I undertake the final courses of my degree. Ideally, we are looking for someone available 3 days a week who can care for our daughter at home while I study. The role would include some meal preparation and light household duties. More than anything we hope to find a candidate who will become a trusted member of our household and who suits our family dynamic.
Seeking expressions of interest for an educator for our two girls through the Government In Home Care program.
for around 25 hours per week across three days (likely Monday, Tuesday and Thursday). Our 3 year old will attend preschool for two of these days, so there is only one day where both girls will require care.
The In Home Care program requires educators to:
- be at least 18 years of age
- hold nationally coordinated criminal history and working with children checks
- hold a current first aid certificate
- have obtained, or be currently studying, a minimum of a Certificate III in early childhood education
- be an Australian citizen or permanent resident, or hold a work visa which allows for employment on a continuous basis for 12 months or more
- be engaged by an approved IHC service (we can work with you to obtain this)
- current driver’s license and own transport will also be required
We are a relaxed and fun-loving family who loves the outdoors. This position would suit an educator who enjoys building meaningful connections with the kids in their care, and supporting their development with practical and hands on activities whilst working in a pretty, peaceful rural setting.
