I’m struggling a bit as a first time mum . I don’t have my mum around anymore as she passed and I have wonderful family in law who help when they can but they have thier own lives to lead too Preferably someone a bit older , experienced with babies and with a current working with children check and current whooping cough vaccine would be wonderful . Hello! We are looking for someone who is happy to help around the house and with our children as required. We have a 3.5yo son and 1.5yo daughter, with another baby on the way around March/April next year. Both parents work full time, but will be sharing some leave next year around the new baby. We would like someone to start with us casually helping with washing / tidying and starting to get spend time with and around the children, so we can seamlessly increase hours in the new year. In 2025 our ideal scenario would be around 3 hours help, twice a week - which might look like starting at 3.30 to do an hour help around the house, and then picking up the kids from daycare (on our street, 2 min walk with the pram!), bringing them home to play / eat, do evening bath. Very flexible to days, and if you’re open to as hoc babysitting that would be a bonus! We have a pool at home so anyone who is confident in the water with little ones would be a bonus, but by no means required. Our kids are kind, curious, energetic and busy. They have lots of loving adults in their lives and I’m confident they will warm to the right person quickly! Our daughter is ex premmie (25weeke), but no resulting issues or developmental delays. She’s just starting to walk and talk, and loves music. Our son is like the energiser bunny! He’s busy and curious and loves to understand the world. He’s into anything practical (lawn mowing, cleaning etc!), cars, magnetic tiles, and reading. Non smoker essential. We also have a dog (Boots) who is half border collie and half cavoodle. He’s super friendly but barks at anyone coming to the door!! No dog caring duties expected but you obviously need to be comfortable around dogs!
