Position: Afternoon nanny in Sandford, Tasmania.
Schedule: Tuesday to Friday 3:00pm – 5 or 5:30pm (school terms).
Start date: 11th February 2025.
Responsibilities:
• Assist Children (age 8 and 11 years) to unwind after school.
• Pick kids up from school or the nearby bus stop (TBD).
• Provide a safe and fun environment for the kids after school.
• Help with light snacks and afternoon routines.
• Engage in fun activities to keep them entertained and happy.
• Ensure their safety and wellbeing during the afternoon.
Requirements:
• Experience with children.
• Valid driver's licence, with a safe driving history and a reliable vehicle*
• Working with vulnerable people certification (or capacity to obtain).
• No criminal history and willing to undergo a police criminal history check (if requested).
• Be energetic, reliable, punctual, friendly and empathic.
• Able to work around animals (cat and dogs).
Job share could be considered under the right circumstances.

We are looking for a nanny (or au pair) to assist in caring for Ms. W- aged 10 (special needs- autism) and Master H- age 8.
I (mum) work from home in a separate building so around if needed. We can be flexible in hours/days- I just need time to get work done. We have facilities for you to stay over if we decide on late nights or if needed.
You would need to pick the kids up from local school (5 minutes' drive) and bring them home (happy to provide vehicle, although you would need to pick it up from our house).
