I am looking for a kind and caring nanny to do school pick up four days a week and look after my boys until I come home from work. They are starting Grade 1 this year at Gold Creek School, which is less than 5 minutes drive from our home in Nicholls. I am looking for someone who is patient and nurturing to help with a simple afternoon routine and to supervise play/activities at our home. And importantly to keep them off iPad and TV. Ideally, I would have someone who is experienced, but what is more important is finding someone who is reliable, trustworthy, and interested in their development and wellbeing so that I know they are in good care when I am not with them. For me, this includes someone who will interact and play with them, communicate effectively. I would like to find the right person for us - and for us to be right for you - so that this is a (semi)permanent arrangement to provide stability and consistency for my boys. My boys are fun, sweet and playful and love learning. They are energetic, love to laugh and learn new things. They enjoy outdoor activities (riding bikes, trampoline, kicking/throwing a ball) and a variety of indoor ones including playing with cars/trains, playdough, building with Lego, cooking, reading, board games and music. We are looking for a nanny who would like to help us out with 2 children - Year 7 boy and Year 2 girl. Experience and references are a plus. If you think you'd be a good match, please apply. We are an active family that do a number of after-school activities. You would need to be able to pick the kids up (mostly just our youngest as our son rides to school most days) and take them to activities, prepare healthy snacks, help with reading / homework etc. Some light housework / folding laundry would be appreciated and general preparation (getting things started) for dinner would also be good.
