We are looking for a nanny who will be able to help us with a (as of 12/22) 10-month old, 23-month old, 5.5 year old, and 7.5 year old. The 5 and 7 year olds are my stepsons and live with us 50/50; they will only be involved in the care every second week. My mum is able to look after the little ones but is unable to do heavy lifting; she has an injury that stops her from lifting the toddler in and out of the car, and any strenuous grandmothering. That’s where you as our lovely nanny will come in! And not to worry, you will be working side by side with my mum so you’ll have support and back up. On Tuesdays, I have uni from 8am to 4pm. This would mean my mum would need help looking after the youngest two during the day. Putting them down for naps, feeding, etc. The older two will then need to be picked up from school at 3pm, which is a 5 minute drive from our house. You would do this while my mum keeps the babies at home. Then after school, the kids would need to be fed, and showered. They’re usually pretty obedient but need to be prompted. Wednesdays I’m at uni from 12:30 so you’ll just need to repeat yesterdays care but for a shorter period. Both days I will be able to return home in time to feed them and start the bed routine. Friday I have a tutorial from 10-12. My toddler will be in daycare but my youngest will need looking after for that time period. We will also have casual babysitting available, and it would be preferred it’s someone we know and trust with the kids. My husband and I are trying to go on date nights every second Friday, the weeks we have only the youngest two; this will be a “we will let you know a few weeks in advance” kind of thing but something to be aware of.

We are both teachers returning to full-time work in semester 2. We are offered 5 days of childcare, however, we would like to give our child some more one-on-one care for the third and fourth year of his life. We are therefore looking for a nanny who is available two days a week (full-day, from 8 am to 4/5 pm, depending on the day of the week). Care would involve play at home or at a playground, engage in some activities such as playgroup or swimming and build a good and strong relationship with our child. We also have a dog (German short-haired pointer) who is very cuddly and who would be at home. Our child is brought up bilingual (German/English) and loves the outdoors and music.
