Hello! I have been tasked by my very busy daughter to find a nanny for my 2 grand daughters in Waramanga. They are 2/12 and 41/2 yrs old. Both Mum and Dad work long hours in Government and they are in need of a helping hand with the two little girls at the end of the day. Of course, as their grandmother, I think they are wonderful little people, very outgoing and full of fun. They have both been in long daycare since 12months of age so are well socialised and in good routines. A broad outline of what we are looking for is: *On Tues, Thurs and Fri afternoons they need to be picked up from preschool/day care around 3.30pm and driven to their home. Once home: * some playtime * afternoon tea * dinner preparation * feed dinner * followed by bath time by which time either or both parents will be home at 6.30pm. * there would be the occasional load of washing to put on, or bring in from the line * a general tidy up of toys is always appreciated! This would be permanent arrangement, 6 hours per week. You would need a drivers licence and your own car fully insured (car seats provided) . We are looking for a warm, punctual and reliable person (non smoker) who can become part of the family. Experience with pre-schoolers is a bonus, but a willingness to give the girls care and nurture is a must. Neither set of Grandparents lives in Canberra, so to have a reliable backup would be wonderful. Any recent references and contactable referees would be very helpful.
