We are a family of 4 consisting of a very active and loving toddler (3y girl) and a new baby (4m). Dad is currently working from home and mum is on maternity leave. We are searching for a nanny for our toddler for 2 evenings (Tuesday and Wednesday) from 5pm-8pm. We would love to find a nanny to welcome into our home long term and help us nurture and raise our daughter and potentially our son in the future. Our toddler is very active, loving and has a great imagination. We would love to have someone who meshes well with her and our family unit. Our ideal nanny/mother's helper is someone who is calm, warm, kind-hearted, enthusiastic and playful. We want to make sure our energetic 3y is kept engaged and occupied. Evening walks, activities including painting, reading, singing, dancing and imaginative play are all encouraged. It is important to us that our toddler enjoys the company of the nanny as both mum and dad will be home at the same time. Nanny tasks: - Spending time and following routines for the toddler. This includes dinner time, shower time and bedtime wind down. - Engaging toddler to do activities at home. - Assisting mum with getting the toddlers meals ready for dinner. - Tidying children's bedrooms and encouraging toddler to pack away. - General tidy up after toddler dinner time or activities. We require 2 references and the following job prerequisites: -Permanent resident -Able to drive and have own car -Current working with children checks -Child care qualification - Cert III -Police check -Experience working with young infant -vaccinations up to date
