Hello!
We are looking for an after-school Nanny aka playmate, trampoline instructor, snack advisor, bug collector, librarian and potato peeling supervisor.
Times needed: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursdays 3pm – 6pm during school term
$250 per week
About us: We are a family of four. I’m Jess, my Husband’s name is Dougie & my 2 boys are K 5 & A 3. We live with our mini poodle Natty and three chickens named Harriet, Willa Willa and Natty. We also have some snails.
We have recently moved to Ballarat. After 5 years in the city, it was time to get back out. We are loving that there are so many birds, butterflies, and yes, bugs! in our garden.
This year Kipp is starting Prep and Artie will be in 3-year-old kinder. Artie spends Mondays with Dougie and Fridays with me, and we juggle all things family and work on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. We have decided to ask for some help and support this year in managing that juggle so that we can enjoy time as a family and feel like we are balancing work, what the boys need, and fun times as a family. Always a challenge and we are certainly not alone in that!
Who we are looking for: We are after someone fun, kind, and curious to help with the after-school hours, in our home. Either Dougie or I will be in the house, but we will be in our study. We need help with school picks up, afternoon tea, playing outside, drawing, reading, etc as well as dinner prep.
The boys are great, they love playing and learning, telling jokes, being in the garden. Artie refuses to eat veggies but pikelets are a favourite.
What we really want is for our boys to spend the after-school hours in our home, doing all the things they love, without Dougie and I stressing about balancing home, work and dinner.
What you will need: current WWCC, drivers licence (but you can use my car to collect the boys), we are looking for someone kind and caring, reliable, an open communicator, patient, and trustworthy.
