Sam and Elisha are looking for a dedicated Nanny/house manager to assist with the care of 3 children, M (4 years) I (8 years) and S (10 years). In addition to child care the role would include help to manage the running of our busy home in Northbridge, Sydney, Australia. This position requires an experienced candidate that is trustworthy and reliable with a positive and energetic attitude. The safety and happiness of our children is our very top priority. We are looking for a good communicator with strong English who is able to take responsibility for set tasks and develop and strong long-term relationship with the family. Attention to detail & problem-solving skills are a very important part of this role. There will be a variety of general housekeeping tasks which require good time management and organisational skills. Duties include general house organisation including assisting with tidying, laundry, shopping and some food preparation and #######.#### position can offer onsite accommodation in a pool house ideally for occasional overnight stays. The facility is very well set up with its own full ensuite, double bed and tv but does not have a self-contained kitchen. It does include separate entrance from the main house. The use of a car will be supplied when transporting children and running errands and we are a short walk from a regular bus stop. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: • School pick-ups and coordinating after school sports. • Assisting with homework, dinner and bath time. • Collecting and dropping off girls to sports and after school activities. • Grocery shopping for the week’s dinner plan. • Preparing & cooking meals when required. • Sorting washing, loading, and unloading laundry. Attending to all laundry and ironing with great care, with a sound knowledge of fabrics and how to care for them, folding washing. • Ensuring kids maintain neat and tidy rooms and work spaces. • Maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen area. • Emptying trash and disposing of waste when required. • Management of all wardrobes, linen press, cupboards, pantry and other storage on a regular basis. • Any other tasks required for the day-to-day running of the household.
