Hi all, We are looking for a wonderful person who doesn’t mind early mornings, gaming and war history to be entertained by our 12-year-old son before and after school, commencing on 29 January. It would require an early start (6:15 am) at our home in Humpty Doo, preparing his lunch and driving him to Palmerston College (middle 7-9 campus) for an 8:15 am start. The day is then yours until school pickup at 2:35 pm where you’ll bring him home and enjoy an afternoon of entertainment until either my wife or I get home from work at approx. 5/5:30 pm. Essential: • Driver license. (If you don’t have a car, please still apply. For the right person, we can negotiate the use of a car.) Desired: • Any tricks you have to convince him that doing homework is a good idea. • Xbox experience (unless you don’t mind being beaten by a 12yo). We do live with cats (3) and dogs (2 large + 1 small). They don’t require assistance, but they will make any attempt to convince you that they do.
