We are a family with 2 boys aged 3 and 5. We are moving to Dubbo for a 12 month period. We work at the hospital doing shift work. We are looking for someone to look after our 3 yo for 3 mornings a week (3-4 hours) with the aim of teaching him and helping him learn through play. He is missing out on preschool/kindergarten so we are keen for someone who connects well with kids, enjoys teaching and would be open to take him to playgroup or playgrounds to help his interaction with other kids. One day per week (ie. Thursday or Friday) it would be great to have a long day so that one of us can work a day in the week. Weekends might be helping us for 3-4 hours so that we can have a little rest or exercise. We arrive in Dubbo 17th January with the aim to meeting you and introducing you to the kids to see if it is a good for for you and for the kids. We can be a little flexible with the hours, so let us know. It is helpful to have past experience babysitting children, understanding safety and boundaries and placing importance on connecting with children to genuinely be present with them. This makes a huge difference for our kids and then also to us as well when we see how happy our kids are with someone they connect with.
