Hello Carers! We are a happy, busy and energetic family needing someone to join us 2 days per week from mid September when our current wonderful carer leaves us to have her baby. The hours would be 2 days from 11am - 6pm (either Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday). As our youngest is now at school we would like the hours of 11am - 2.30pm to be providing housekeeping duties (no children at home). At 2.30pm you would then drive to pick up our two youngest from school and either bring them home or take them to activities. While at home with the children, the afternoons would be supervising the afternoon routine, preparing dinner and packed lunches for the next day and tidying up the kitchen. We would also like someone who can do extra day's here and there when required as my partner and I both travel for work sometimes. Now - about our family. We have three children. Our daughter is nearly 15 and our two boys are 8 and 5. My partner and I both work and sometimes we work from the home office. Some weeks we need more flexibility on hours due to travel and meetings but this is always negotiated in advance. Our children are lovely (I might be biased), love playing outside and doing all sorts of activities. They are very independent and there are no behavioural problems. We don't do screens during the week and would need someone who can support that. We are looking for someone to become part of our extended "village" and would appreciate the same values such as encouraging their curiosity, supporting learning, expecting beautiful manners and generally leading by example.
