We are seeking a proactive, flexible and reliable individual who thrives in a multifaceted role to support a lovely, busy family in Shorncliffe, Brisbane. This dynamic position combines managing the household assisting with childcare and private personal assistant duties. The ideal candidate will have experience within private households, possess initiative and a keen eye for detail. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the household, e.g. Laundry, managing waste & recycling, tidying rooms, ensuring kitchen is cleaned and fridge cleaned out weekly. Manage household diary, appointments and household inventory Oversee the weekly cleaner and gardener along with any other tradesmen at the property. Carry out personal errands and assist with grocery shopping and meal prep and occasional cooking. School drop off and pick up including afternoon activities etc… Managing the cars ensuring fuel, tyre pressure, services and registration are up-to-date Proxy parenting, babysitting and weekend work on occasions Caring for pets when required. Feeding, walking, taking to vet and groomer (3 dogs, chickens and fish) Create a household manual with important dates and contacts. The flexibility to plan your weekly hours according to the busy household schedule For the right candidate there is also the possibility to help with some business administration duties such as diary management and booking travel. REQUIREMENTS: Ideally have experience in a similar role Lives within close proximity to Shorncliffe. Able to work either morning or afternoon shifts depending on the family schedule. This can change from week to week. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, with a commitment to maintaining high standards. Strong communication and ability to prioritise tasks, be proactive and manage time effectively. Valid driver’s licence and a clean driving record. Animal lover Must have own car, however there will also be a car available for certain activities National Police check WWCC (Working with Children Card) Excellent contactable references Candidates MUST HAVE full working rights in Australia.
