We’re seeking a dedicated female in-home carer to support a wonderful 12-year-old girl with autism during school holidays. She loves reading, She-Ra, enjoys the excitement of arcades, and has a passion for cooking. This role would suit a compassionate, calm and reliable person and would be well suited to university students.
What You’ll Need:
⁃ Positive Notice Blue Card (or ability to obtain)
⁃ Current First Aid certification
⁃ ABN or willingness to obtain
⁃ Medical clearance for working with children
⁃ Minimum of working towards Certificate III in a relevant qualification
⁃ A car and license for transport to excursions and allied health therapy
Shifts will be Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 730am to 330pm in our home. For students studying Occupational Therapy there is opportunity for ongoing term time work in a Therapy Assistant role.

I am a single mother of 3 sons (age 7, 10 and 13) in search of a nurturing and organised carer to take care of my sons on Mondays and Wednesday (plus occasional Fridays) after school.
The most important aspect of this role will be picking the boys up from Everton Park State School and dropping my 7 year old at gymnastics squad training and picking him up again at 5.30pm. While he is at gymnastics, you will be able to do some activities with my 10 year old son. In addition, I may request support with light housework, meal preparation for the evening and/or general assistance around our home.

Hi. Our family is looking for after school care for a 9 year old and a 7 year old. We are looking for someone to collect them from their school at Everton Park (own car required), bring them home, assist with homework, give them an afternoon snack and enjoy the afternoon (Mon, Wed, Fri afternoons 3-6pm) at our home in Mitchelton.
