They energetic and adventurous and are wonderful eaters and sleepers (i.e. you won’t have trouble feeding them a plate of food or putting them down for naps). We are looking for someone that will be able to provide care for our girls for 1-2 mornings a week. We have another little girl on the way (due early August) and for the right candidate more work will be available then. We also have two elderly dogs, a husky and a golden retriever. They are usually outside dogs, but they will have to be let in and out of the house from time to time and the candidate must be comfortable around dogs. Our ideal candidate must have prior experience working with kids, be honest, reliable, trustworthy and punctual. They must be good communicators with us and the girls and obviously have patience and energy. They must have an understanding of child development and provide age-appropriate activities. Importantly, the candidate must also have respect for and alignment with our values in raising our children. The candidate will be responsible for providing our girls with a safe and stimulating environment, including outdoor and indoor play. They will be responsible for preparing meals and snacks for the girls, feeding them, cleaning up after meals, folding laundry, bathing, dressing and changing nappies. We would also like them to provide the occasional outing with the girls and we are happy to provide a vehicle for this. We are looking for someone for three days per week Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays from 7am to 1pm for our twin girls (20 months). Occasionally other days, and sometimes if we are travelling you may not be required. Occasionally you would look after our newborn baby girl instead. We are in Tanawha near Buderim. The job involves looking after the girls including meals, bathing, playtime, reading, education, and excursions from time to time. We also expect our baby sitter/nanny to help with cooking, washing and folding, tidying and limited cleaning (we have a cleaner that does the big stuff). We are looking for someone who cares for our kids in the way we think is best and agrees with our parenting style which is all about good food, educational play, adventure, learning and independence.
