Hello, I am looking for a responsible, reliable and caring babysitter with a few years experience to spend some time with our two girls. Other have always been cared for by family however this is no longer an option as we have recently moved. We hope to find the right fit for our family and are looking forward speaking to and meeting with someone prior. We’re a busy, creative family of five living in Goonellabah 2480 NSW, seeking a caring and confident individual to join our household and help us stay on top of day-to-day life. ABOUT US. We have three wonderful boys aged 12, 10, and 3 years. Both parents work freelance in creative industries, which means we mostly work from home but do have frequent domestic travel depending where our projects are based. We’re looking for someone who can confidently take the reins and support our family when needed, helping to create a fun, organized, and supportive environment for the family. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR. The ideal candidate will be: - At least 20 years old - In possession of a full driver’s license and their own reliable vehicle - A holder of a current Working with Children Check - A first aid certificate - Confident in cooking and cleaning, with the ability to involve the kids in age-appropriate tasks (e.g., cooking, tidying, etc.) - Happy to help with homework, school, and daycare pickups - Comfortable with light housework (e.g., tidying, laundry, meal prep) - Available for occasional overnight stays when parents are traveling This role is well-suited to a university student, someone with part time work or a retired individual who has daytime availability in the mornings and late afternoons/evenings and can offer flexibility during the school holiday period. Regular Hours: Three evenings per week: 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM (including school/daycare pickups, homework help, and preparing dinner) Casual Hours: Availability for overnight stays and mornings when parents are away. Note that children are in daycare/ school 5 days per week.
