For three days a week and for a few weeks, care for an elderly lady overnight in her own home, to allow her husband, who is also her carer, respite. This means being awake and alert through the night because she tends to be restive and needs to get up (toilet or other worries) sometimes multiple times. She requires assistance into and out of a wheelchair for the toilet, washing hands, and other activities. The times envisaged are from 9.30 pm to 6.30 am, with a little flexibility if needed. You will need to be gentle, patient, and empathetic, and preferably have experience working with elderly people recovering from lengthy hospitalisation and depression. .

Provide daytime care to 78-year-old lady recovering from pelvic fractures at home, to give her husband respite time on Mondays and Thursdays for 5-6 hours, from Monday 26th February up to and including Thursday 14th March. Care may include helping her with washing, toilet, dressing, providing breakfast and/or lunch, help with daily rehabilitation exercises (walker, wheelchair), companionship.
