I'm Alicia, 23 years old and from Scotland. Having graduated from Glasgow University this past June, I have spent the last 6 months working as a nanny for two girls, 7 and 9. This work involves picking the girls up from school, making them dinner and helping with homework and music practice until the parents return from work. I was a part-time nanny alongside my studies. I spent 6 months caring for a three year old boy which involved making meals, entertaining him with fun activities, putting him down for naps and changing nappies. I also helped out a family who had two children (G9, M12) often staying over at their house while the parents were away for work and was responsible for the morning school run. Before university I babysat for a family, looking after two girls, aged 2 and 9 months. I'm a lover of the outdoors and travel, I'm always planning my next adventure! I took a gap year before heading to university where I solo travelled across South America and spent last summer working as a marine research assistant in Honduras. I love sports, whether that's going to the gym, or a run, or playing hockey. I was a member of my University's hockey and surf teams, a skill which I'm hoping to improve over here!
