Though I'm originally from the United States, I have now been living and working in Switzerland for two years. Currently, I'm 21 years old, and I am working at a bilingual Kita in Zurich as an English-teaching assistant, while simultaneously finishing the last year of my bachelor's in psychology online. I have been working at my current job for almost a year and I truly love being able to spend my days educating and playing with children. Currently, I work with children from 13 months to three years old and I find this age group to be incredibly rewarding and fulfilling. However, I do have experience with older children as well, which comes with other benefits. All that being said, though I do enjoy working with large groups of children, I prefer working with families where I can dedicate 100% of myself to just a few children. For that reason, I am looking to transition into working as a nanny as soon as possible.
