Dear potential family, I am a 22 year old South African born, living in Schlieren. I finished working as an Au Pair for a family in Wallisellen, in July (my contract was one year). I was born and grew up in Cape Town. I speak Afrikaans and English on a native level and I speak German at level A2. I completed a certificate in business management after school, after that I started studying towards a Bachelor of commerce and law degree. Halfway through I realized moving here and finishing my studies in the future is much better if I do it from this side. At this point, I am most focused on integrating more and learning the local language, so I will be able to focus on my studies later in the future. I did babysitting occasionally in South Africa. I have gained a lot of valuable skills during this past year and most importantly, I have gained family members. My job caring for the little ones has brought me much joy and I am lucky enough to be starting this new journey with a wonderful family supporting me all the way.
