FUN!!!:-) I so love my job. I love the fact that I can stay in my home yet provide a very safe FUN time for children.there is so much for children to do while they are here - puzzles, games, art work, chalkboards, reading time. Yet if they need a quiet place to sleep...QUIET it will be. We do not watch much television. I love teaching the kids to bake banana bread from scratch as well as HOMEMADE soups and sauces. I have raised 4 children of my own. I have a piano which the kids can play at any age. We plant a garden & enjoy making fresh dishes using our homegrown vegetables. My home is small & we do have 4 cats, (3 we recused) but I always make room for CHILDREN of any age. I'm a former foster parent. I can take Genesee County, Erie County & Niagara County children & can take subsidized children also. I have a NY State Family Day Care License. I belong to The Childcare Coalition in Buffalo. They are my Monitors for meals and Inspections. They are allowed to come in my home UNANNOUNCED for Inspections ANY DAY, ANY TIME. I have a wonderful time here in my home. I love what I do and want to keep doing it for a long time to come! I can help potty train children. I can also make special meals for SPECIAL DIETARY NEEDS. I hold CPR for infants, children & adults. I have VERY flexible hours including weekends and some overnights. We love to decorate for all the holidays. We RESPECT our country flag & fly it proudly. Stop by for a visit. We are open A LOT!! I have taking care of children for OVER 30 years & will provide references upon request.

Inspiring Future Engineers is a hands-on, project-based summer program intended to teach children critical life skills through engineering and STEM learning. By allowing children to work both individually and in groups, they discover how to collaborate and think creatively. We strongly believe children are natural born engineers. Therefore, we wanted to ensure that our program inspires children to apply their math and science skills to engineering activities based on real-world problems. As a result, children are able to enhance their learning and discover how math and science can change the world! Engineering activities help children grow and develop in unparalleled ways. An engineering problem can have a multitude of solutions, there is hardly ever one "right" answer. By teaching the engineering design process, we are removing the stigma from failure; allowing children to confidently approach problems and learn essential problem-solving skills.
