I have worked at a retirement care home in Ireland. I can assist with the daily activities. I learned a lot about the special needs of the elderly and I have the ability to provide professional but courteous service. I have nursing skills to provide the basic health care services such as checking vitals- blood pressure, blood glucose tests and I know what signs to look for that could indicate a problem. I can lay out the medication for the patients and check to make sure they are taking it correctly. I also have the stamina to assist the individuals by helping them in and out of bed, getting dressed, bathing and with their meals. Please note that my Danish skills are at a basic level (I'm hoping and trying to improve them). As a person I am kind, friendly and responsible.
