Join our Tuesday Morning Sewing Studio! Students learn by working on a project of their choice. All skill levels from beginner to expert (including Couture and French Jacket projects) are welcome.

Instructor Jennifer Serr has a background in Fashion Design and Pattern Making and taught in the Fashion Department of CCA, before opening up The Sewing Room.

Please note:

*ALL students who have never used a sewing machine before must take our Machine Basics Class before enrolling in any of our Classes and/or Workshops.

*Drop-in Classes are reserved for returning students and students needing to make-up a missed class. Please do not sign up for these without approval. Email Jennifer@TheSewingRoomAlameda.com with any questions you may have.

Cancellation Policy : 24 hour notice for rescheduling. No-shows and cancelations with less than 24 hours notice will not be refunded or rescheduled. Students may make up missed classes within a month of the missed class. Rescheduling should be done via email. If you know which days will be missed, prior to signing up, please sign up for Drop-in Spots if they are available instead of the series.
