This art project, featuring a curious cat on canvas, teaches students
about size and texture through engaging techniques.
Students will experiment with various brushes to capture the essence of the cat's fur, expressions, and surroundings, focusing on how different textures create visual and tactile interest.
The project also emphasizes understanding proportions and scale, helping students grasp size relationships in their artwork. By exploring these concepts, students enhance their observational skills and artistic techniques, creating a lifelike and intriguing piece that delves into the nuanced details of artistic elements.
Art Lessons perfect for ages 4-6 years. 1-hour class
We will use a variety of media, including watercolor, acrylic & tempera paints, oil pastels, mixed media, and clay for our beginner classes throughout the school-year!
Dress for a mess! We use acrylic paints and sometimes they are difficult to remove from clothes!
