In this week's clay sculpting class, students will create lilies! They will enhance their tactile skills and fine motor abilities by molding and shaping clay. They will also develop spatial awareness and learn about proportion as they convert the lily's 3D shape from visuals to their clay models. Additionally, this project will boost creativity, as students personalize their lilies, and confidence, through realizing a tangible, artistic accomplishment. This activity not only teaches technical sculpting skills but also encourages artistic expression and appreciation.
Art Lessons perfect for ages 4-6 years. 1-hour class
We will use a variety of media, including watercolor, acrylic & tempera paints, oil pastels, mixed media, and clay for our beginner classes throughout the school-year!
Dress for a mess! We use acrylic paints and sometimes they are difficult to remove from clothes!
