About
Intermediate art is a 1.5 hour class. We work on pieces of art that can last over a number of weeks!
This week in art class, students will focus on creating self-
portraits. We'll start with detailed pencil sketches, emphasizing
individual facial features. Following this, students will enhance
their portraits using hot and cold colors, exploring how different
hues can express mood and personality. This project will help
improve drawing skills and understanding of color theory.
If you purchase an apron with us, you can leave it with us each week or take home. Please dress for a mess to enable your child to fully enjoy the creative experience.
