Homeschool Communication Crew: A High-Energy Public Speaking Series!

Welcome to Highest Speak’s “Homeschool Communication Crew!”—a fun, high-energy, and highly interactive public speaking series designed for homeschoolers of all experience levels. Whether your child is new to public speaking or already loves the mic, this 5-session, 5-class-hour course is the perfect opportunity to build confidence, sharpen communication skills, and make friends in a supportive and dynamic community!

Each student will receive a detailed class packet with materials to support their learning and practice.

In every lively and engaging session, students will:

LEARN

Master the fundamentals of effective public speaking and explore different speaking styles;
Develop strategies to manage and reduce public speaking anxiety and nervousness;
Build positive daily public speaking and communication habits;
Strengthen their writing skills with structured, clear approaches;
Discover the differences between persuasive, informative, storytelling, and conversational speaking styles.
DO

Practice impromptu speech skills as well as prepared assignments;
Present to the group and receive constructive feedback from instructors and peers.
IMPROVE

Receive individualized feedback on their speaking to build confidence and effectiveness;
Get personalized guidance on written assignments to enhance clarity, structure, and impact (when applicable).

Every class is packed with high-energy activities, exciting public speaking games, and plenty of opportunities to speak and receive individualized feedback. Small class sizes ensure that every child gets multiple chances to shine. For larger classes, two engaging instructors provide plenty of attention and support.

Our professional instructors, with backgrounds in teaching, stand-up comedy, and performance, make every moment as fun as it is educational!

Note: Assignments may be given and are expected to be completed for maximum growth. Practicing skills outside of class is highly encouraged.
