Impromptu Speech Class (Grades 2-4)
Location: Our New Center in Herndon
Duration: 5 Weeks | 1 Hour Per Class

This class is perfect for both beginners and more experienced young speakers! Our individualized approach ensures every student is challenged and supported at their unique level, helping them build confidence and improve from their baseline. With an energetic, fun, and fully interactive environment, your child will love learning the skills to think and speak on their feet.

Impromptu speaking is one of the most valuable and commonly used communication skills—whether your child is meeting new people, answering questions in class, or explaining a topic on the spot. Yet, many children freeze or struggle to express their thoughts confidently when put on the spot. This class is designed to help your child overcome those challenges!

LEARN
- Discover the frameworks for impromptu speech that make thinking on your feet easier.
- Learn how to manage nervousness and/speech anxiety.
- Understand different types of impromptu speaking and how to interpret questions.
- Learn daily positive communication habits to improve speaking confidence in any social or academic situation.

DO
- Practice techniques every week with fun, hands-on games and activities.
- Work collaboratively with peers in an exciting, high-energy environment.
- Receive individualized feedback that they will implement on the spot to ensure they are capturing and improving in each session.
- Complete engaging weekly assignments designed to reinforce skills outside of class.

Special Note: For classes with more than 10 students, we’ll have two instructors to ensure every student receives personalized attention and feedback.

Note: Assignments are a key part of the class. Students are expected to complete them to get the most out of this learning experience.
